Hello everyone and welcome to a new week of activities. Begin with dancing and singing to the go noodle hello song.
Communication Language and Literacy / Imagination
Watch Sid in CBeebies ‘Let’s Play’ all about astronauts.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01nzpm5/lets-play-series-1-2-astronauts
Role play – Can you pretend to be an astronaut?
Have fun creating your own mission control or space ship with cardboard boxes, cushions and blankets. You could make a space helmet or space suit.
Where will you go on your adventure in space? What will you see? Who might you see? You could use your teddy bears to either come into space with you or pretend that they are aliens!

Can you make one of the constellations?
Create a starry night picture using stones, stars, glitter – if you have them or draw them.
This week the whole school topic is ‘Planets’
CBeebies Melody listens to the song Mars by Gustov Holst. See what story she imagines.
Questions that you could ask.
What does it make you think of? Do you like the music? Can you tell me about the music you heard? (loud / quiet, fast slow) What instruments could you hear?
