What a lovely week we’ve had in Reception!

We have been reading the story Bog Baby and discussing the exciting adventures the character might go on. The children wrote some wonderful sentences describing both the character and the setting of the story.

In maths, we have been focusing on missing numbers, and the children were fantastic at quickly spotting the missing digits.

In science, we have started learning about animal groups, which has sparked lots of curiosity and great discussions.

On Thursday, we had a very special visitor who came to talk to us about the importance of brushing our teeth. The children were especially excited to explore and use the dental equipment.

To finish the week, our caterpillars arrived on Friday! We are all very excited to watch them grow and take good care of them.
