School Opening Hours

Main School - Reception class to Y6

8.40 am – Gates open for Reception – Year 6

Register closes at 8.50 am - Children need to be in school, at their desk at 8.50 am

All children are expected to be in class ready for the register to be taken. Children arriving after 8:50 am should enter school through the main office.

9.15 am - Official Late cut off for morning register

Children arriving to school after this time will be recorded with an unauthorised absence which will remain on their attendance record.

Afternoon registers -12.30 to 1 pm

This is dependent on the time the class goes for lunch.

15:00 pm – End of the school day

Children should be collected from their playground school exit.

Nursery Provision

At Carr Mill we have a variety of options for our Nursery Provision:

Morning Session 8.30- 11.30

Afternoon Session 12.10-3.10

30 hours (subject to approval) please speak to the school office/ EYFS to discuss hours.

8:30 am – Nursery Doors Open-The morning register is taken

All children are expected to be in class ready for the register to be taken. Children who arrive to school after this time will need to enter via the main office.

11:30 am- Morning nursery children go home.

12.10 pm Afternoon nursery and registers.

3.10 pm Afternoon Nursery goes home

After School Club Provision

At Carr Mill our main after school wrap around provider is Park Farm. Children are collected after school and walk a short journey to Park Farm. You can get details via park farm or the school office.
