The children have made a wonderful start to the summer term in school and it was lovely to see so many smiling faces on Tuesday morning.

This week we have started a new unit of work in our English lessons focussed around the book 'Owl Babies'. We have researched facts about owls and retold the story with actions to help us remember the plot.

In maths we have been working on addition and subtraction strategies and becoming quicker and more efficient with our methods. 

This week has also been lots of fun in our music lessons about 'Our World'. We have found the pulse, rythym and beat to various songs and we have enjoyed appraising songs to do with the world around us.

In PE we continued to work on tactics and strategies in invasion games and we will be starting to practise for our upcoming sports day activities too. Star of the day in PE was awarded to Sadie and Violet. Well done!
