Beech Class, Wk 4, 21.03.25
Date: 18th Mar 2025 @ 11:04am
This week in Beech class we have been winners!!! We have had 100% attendance on 3 days and nearly 100% on one other.
Our Easter attendance competition has been wonderful for our class. On Monday we won an extra playtime, on Tuesday we won a session of Easter colouring / puzzles, on Thursday we won another session of Easter activites and Friday we finished off with a kid's choice session.
In English we started a new topic of work based around the brilliant story 'Supertato'. The children loved following clues to find the hidden vegetables that Evil Pea had trapped around school!
DT lessons were lots of fun because the children had to design, make and evaluate a fun fruit kebab. They came up with lots of creative ideas and their finished products were excellent and tasty too! Our computing lessons this week was also linked to this topic when creating pictograms of the children's favourite fruits online.
Our topic in maths was finished this week about position and direction where the children have enjoyed learning about clockwise and anti-clockwise turns. We have now started a new unit about weight and mass.
Our VIP winner this week was Sadie for creating fantastic designs for a fun fruit kebab in her DT lessons.
Next week the attendance competition is still running so we need to win more prizes!
