Chestnut Autumn Week 6

This week we have been listening to and appraising lots of different pieces of music which the children have really enjoyed. 

In English, we have been reading and writing about Traction Man. The children have completed some wonderful pieces of work.

In Maths, Year 1 have started their Addition and Subtraction Within 10 topic, and Reception have continued to Sort, Match and Compare. Reception have also been subitising. 

In our PATHS lessons, we have learned more about how to give and receive compliments. Next week we will be learning about more emotions and how to manage them. 

On Friday, we all wore yellow for Hello Yellow Day. The classroom was full of bright colours.
