ROWAN - SUMMER 3

What a week it’s been! The weather has been super hot, but thankfully, Rowan class have managed to stay cool and focused despite the heat.

It’s been a busy one with assessment week behind us now—well done to all the students for their hard work and resilience. We’re proud of how they approached each test with determination.

Now that assessments are done, we’re excited to dive into our new science unit on light. This week, we’ve started exploring how light travels in straight lines and the fascinating concept of reflection. The children have been curious and eager to experiment, which makes teaching this unit a real joy.

Outside of the classroom, the children have been absolutely loving their time playing outside, especially with our new OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) system. It’s fantastic to see them so engaged and energetic while developing their social skills and creativity in the fresh air.
