Willow Spring 2, Week 4.

This week, we have been competing our DT projects - creating a mechanical poster to advertise The Water Horse. 

The children were amazing at creating levers for their posters so that they had moving parts. The finished products are so good! Check out the photos below!

In maths, we have been recapping the four operations and their methods: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. We will continue to make this a weekly focus so that all children can apply these methods. 

In reading and writing, we have come to the end of our unit on James and the Giant Peach - the children have loved this book and all the silly poems in it - we will continue to read in our class story time as there are still a few chapters left. 

Next week, we will be beginning our science topic: light and shadows.
