What a great week we've had in Beech Class...

In English we have planned and written a retell of the story of Bog Baby. The children have thoroughly enjoyed this book and loved writing about it. 

In maths we have completed our unit of work on fractions - being able to recognise and find three quarters and counting fractions up to a whole.

We have continued our science topic about Amazing Animals looking at which animals are carnivores, herbivores or omnivores.

In music we have started a new unit of work - Inventing a Musical Story. We listened and appraised songs and also used instruments to accompany our music.

VIP this week was awarded for work in PSHE and this was given to Jorge. Well done!
