Beech Class 17.04.26
Date: 15th Apr 2026 @ 9:43am
Beech Class have made a wonderful start to this half term in school and it was lovely to see lots of smiles on Monday morning!
In English we have started a new non-fiction topic of work about seahorses. The children have loved learning lots of facts about these amazing sea creatures!
In maths we have been learning about how things move in different directions in our unit of work about position and direction.
In PE lessons we have been practising our events for Sports Day and also Jag Tag (American football) with coach Olivia.
Geography has been a focus in our afternoon lessons and we have started learning about the similarities and differences between Carr Mill and Tanzania. We have looked at the different types of biomes and what you would find there. We also went for a local walk around our area spotting human and physical features in the environment for our fieldwork activity.
VIP this week was awarded for showing our school values of Ready, Respect and Safe and this was given to Lola...well done!
