We've had a very exciting week in Beech Class!

On Wednesday it was our Sports Day and the children all thoroughly enjoyed it. The overall winning house for all Sports Day throughout school was.....the red team! Well done to everyone.

Our class assembly took place this morning and the children were exceptional! They delivered their lines beautifully and their singing and dancing was amazing too. They have really enjoyed the history topic all about 'Great Explorers' which we have continued this week in lessons too. Thank you to everyone that was able to attend the assembly - it was lovely to see you all!

In maths we have completed our unit of work about multiplication and division and started work on statistics looking at tally charts.

English lessons have continued to be focused upon the book 'Jack and the Baked Beanstalk' and the children produced a wonderful piece of narrative writing to complete this.

On Thursday we had a road safety workshop delivered by the road safety team in our local authority where the children learnt how to stay safe whilst travelling around our roads.

Our VIP this week was awarded for PE and it was given to Tajo...well done!
