Beech Class 27.02.26

Beech Class have made a great start to the next half term. 

We have started a new unit of work in maths - addition and subtraction. In English we have started work around the book Mr Bunny's Chocolate Factory which the children loved! The children also loved the drama 'hot-seating' activity in role as one of the characters from the book.

In science we have continued our topic 'My Incredible Body' and carried out a 'think before you drink' experiment looking at the sugar content of different drinks.

In computing, we used the app 'Scratch Junior' where we had to create a scene with a 'sprite' (character) and create code to make it move on screen. It was lots of fun!!

VIP this week was 'Writing Champions'. This was awarded to Noah and Max for their application of spelling in their writing. Well done!
