Beech Class Week 6

This week it has been transition week in school. We all got to visit our new classes on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. We completed lots of fun 'getting to know you 'activities and made lots of new friends in our new classes.

We also completed some wonderful writing about Zog the dragon after reading the story and collecting words to describe him.

In maths we used our base 10 equipment to partition numbers and did lots of counting. We also played some maths games which we really enjoyed!

On Thursday and Friday we were back to this year's Beech Class and we started some work in maths with statistics. We continued our work in English with the text Toys in Space and completed some fantastic writing as one of the characters in the story.

VIP this week was awarded for progress in reading and this was given to Sadie. Well done!
