Birch Class Week 5 23.5.25
Date: 21st May 2025 @ 4:20pm
We have had a lovely week to end our half term in Birch class. It has been sports week and on Thursday we took part in sports day, earning points for our house. Thank you to all of our parents who came along to support us!
This week we have really enjoyed writing postcards during our English lessons. We all wrote about a trip to the seaside at Blackpool. The children had some wonderful ideas about what to write on their postcard and used fabulous descriptive words!
Lots of children have brought in medals and trophies this week. Well done to all of the children who played at the Totally Wicked stadium last weekend! Well done to our children who came 2nd and 4th place in dance competitions too. One of our children made a wonderful poster to explain all about recycling.
In computing, we have continued to learn about how to stay safe online. We created posters to remind others about what they can do if they feel worried about something that they have saw when playing on their electronic devices.
We have had some very important discussions in our PSHE lessons about what communities we are part of. We thought about our school community and wider community. This allowed us to talk about what we can do to look after our environment and the things that make us special.
We hope you all have a wonderful half-term!
