Chestnut Autumn 2 Week 1

We have had a brilliant start back to Autumn 2. The children in Chestnut Class have worked very hard.

This week we have started our new text Major Glad, Major Dizzy and the children have enjoyed listening to the story of two toys as the world around them changes and evolves. 

In Maths, Year 1 have continued to add and subtract. The children in Reception have been subitising to 5. 

In Computing, the children have been controlling an on-screen animation using commands. 

In Science, the children have been carrying out investigations to test a range of materials.
