Chestnut Week 3

This week we have started to read our new text, Meerkat Mail and Year 1 have enjoyed writing about Sunny's adventures.

In Maths, Year 1 have been learning about 2D and 3D shapes. They learnt the names, properties and completed patterns using shapes. Recpetion have continued to learn about the numbers 4 and 5 and the composition of these numbers.

In History we have started our brand new topic, My Memory Box. We have been finding out about significant events from our lifetime, events frim the 1960's and toys from past and present.

Next week, we will be having a 1960's experience day.
