Chestnut Week 4

This week we have continued with our whole class text, Meerkat Mail. 

The Reception and Year 1 children have produced some fantastic pieces of writing about the Sunny's adventures using their current phonic knowledge.

In Maths, Year 1 have focused on counting forwards and backwards to 20 accurately, recognising numbers to 20 and writing these as words. The Reception children have continued to focus on numbers to 5. 

In History, we have learnt about changes in transport and travel, Christmas then Vs now and the children have enjoyed a 1960's experience day.
