Sycamore Class - Summer 2 WEEK 4

What a busy and successful week we've had in class!

This week has been Assessment Week, and I am incredibly proud of how hard all the children have worked. They have approached each assessment with a positive attitude, shown great resilience and really tried their best. 

The hot weather has certainly made for a very warm week, but the children have been fantastic. We have made sure to take plenty of breaks throughout the day, keep water bottles topped up and spend time in shaded areas whenever possible. The children have been excellent at remembering to stay hydrated and have coped brilliantly with the higher temperatures.

Alongside our assessments, we have still enjoyed lots of learning and fun together, making sure there is a good balance throughout the week. It has been wonderful to see the children supporting one another and continuing to show our school values in everything they do.

A particular highlight was our Colour Run on Friday! The event was a huge success and the children had an amazing time. There were lots of smiles, laughter and colourful faces by the end of the day. Thank you for your support in helping the children come prepared for the event. It was a fantastic way to celebrate the end of a busy week and create some wonderful memories together.
