In English, we have been reading Roman Diary: The Journal of Iliona. This fictional diary follows the life of a young greek girl who suddenly finds herself attacked by pirates and sold as a slave. Now in Rome and serving her Roman masters, we wonder how Iliona's life might change...

Maths

This week, we have revisited our knowledge and understanding of time. We had lots of fun thinking of all the things you can do in less than a minute and comparing how long it takes us to get to school.

Our year 4s have all worked very hard, getting ready for their multiplication checks!

History

In History, we have started exploring the reasons why Britain was invaded by Emperor Claudius and how the native's tried to fight back. Did you know that this was the 3rd attempt by the Romans! We have also learnt about Queen Boudicca and how she resisted the invasion.
