Aspen week 3

 Welcome to week 3 in Aspen

In reading, we come to the end of the book ‘Krindlekrax’ Aspen class have really enjoyed developing their inference skills using this text. Next week we will begin a new text called ‘Escape to Pompeii.

In maths, we have revisited decimals and developed out knowledge of creating a whole using tenths and hundredths.

In in writing, children have created their own instructions of how to catch a Krindlekrax. Next week we will edit them and share our final work in the gallery.  

Aspen class and all of Lower Keystage Two are working hard to prepare for out sports day!!

In Geography we have explored how and why earthquakes and volcanoes happen as well as the aftermath they leave. Take a look at our photos below
