Birch Class- Summer 2 Week 3

This week has been a beautiful week. We have enjoyed using our OPAL equipment in the sunshine at breaktime. On Wednesday a new area was added called 'loose parts'. We have had so much fun create vehicles and obstacle courses. The children worked so well as a team!

This week we have been busy doing assessments and the children have been working hard to show us all the things that they have learned over the year.  The children have worked incredibly hard and were rewarded with some golden time for their efforts on Friday.

Earlier in the week, we used our technology skills and history skills combined to create a pic collage of the Great Fire of London. We used the skills that we were taught last week to create a timeline.

On Thursday Elaine from the Road Safety team at St Helens council visited our class. She talked to us about the importance of always wearing a seatbelt in the car and reminded us that we must use a car seat until we are at least 12 years old, by law!

Next week we are starting a new science topic called 'Our School in Bloom' and will continue with our RE work.
