Seedlings summer 2

The children have been really excited to come back to Nursery this week. On our playground we found an egg. The children looked, felt, listened and predicted what it could be. We had a letter saying it was ready to hatch and it had been trying to use it claws to get out. Some think its a bird, some think its a dinosaur. 

In English, we have been labelling parts of a dinosaur and in maths we have looked at estimating and capacity in our water area. We are now using the terms full, empty and half full. 

Next week I wonder if the egg hatches?
