Another Fantastic Week for Aspen!

Aspen Class have had another fabulous and busy week full of creativity, learning and fun!

In DT, we finished making our beautiful trinket boxes. The children worked incredibly hard to design and create special boxes to keep their small treasures and memories safe. We also enjoyed spending time on the field collecting trinkets to add to our collections.

In English, we continued our exciting journey under the sea with our class story, Flotsam. The mysterious and magical camera in the story inspired us to create our own imaginative tales. Aspen Class have produced some wonderful pieces of writing this week!

In Maths, we have been learning all about money. We practised converting between pence and pounds, estimating amounts and calculating totals — all important skills for spending our own pennies wisely!

In French, we learnt how to talk about our pets and practised having conversations about the animals we love.

Science has been very busy and exciting! We explored the results of our healthy teeth experiment and learnt more about the digestive system through lots of fun and interactive games.

In PSHE, we discussed healthy relationships and explored ways to understand and manage feelings of jealousy.

Finally, in PE, we have been preparing for Sports Day by practising our running skills and training hard on the track.
