Birch Class - 06.02.26

It has been another fantastic week in Birch Class! 

In English, we have continued working with our class story book and have now started writing our own adventure stories. The children have been developing their ideas, thinking carefully about characters, settings and events. 

In Maths, we have begun a new unit on fractions, where the children have been learning to recognise and understand fractions. 

During computing, we have continued using Chrome Music Lab, focusing on pitch, tempo and duration to create simple musical patterns. 

We have also completed a unit of work in RE about the Islamic faith.  

In PE, the children have carried on with gymnastics, working on travelling movements into balances. 

VIP of the week was awarded for PE and was given to Charlie. Well done!
