Another busy week of learning in Birch Class!
We have had a fantastic time in DT! The children enjoyed exploring a variety of ways to join materials before designing, building and evaluating their own homes for a Bog Baby.
In Maths, we have continued our learning on fractions, focusing on both unit and non-unit fractions. The children used practical resources to help develop their understanding and confidence in this area.
During English, we have continued looking at The Bog Baby. The children have explored noun phrases and practised using conjunctions to help improve and extend their writing.
In PE, the children continued developing their Jag Tag skills with Coach Olivia and practised for upcoming Sports Day events.
In Birch Class, we have been celebrating Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday by planting up the plant pots around school.
This week’s VIP award in Birch Class was presented for excellent work in DT and was awarded to Vinnie. Well done!
