Birch Class - 13.03.26
Date: 27th Mar 2026 @ 5:19pm
Birch Class have worked extremely hard this week as it has been test week in school.
As a class, we read the book Wolves and explored the story in detail. The children enjoyed discussing the plot and characters, and we looked closely at how the author created tension. We then focused on the alternative ending, comparing it to the original and sharing our ideas about which version we preferred and why.
In History, we started an exciting new topic on The Titanic. The children have been learning about the differences between first, second and third class, and we also began following the story of Delia McDermott.
In RE, we have continued our learning about Christianity, focusing on the theme of belonging. We explored our school logo and discussed the meaning it has for us.
This week’s VIP winner for History in Birch Class was Ivy N. Well done!
