What a busy and exciting week it has been in Birch Class!

In Maths, we continued our learning about volume and capacity and explored temperature. We have also started looking at 2D and 3D shapes.

We started our new English text, The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch. The children have enjoyed learning about the characters in the story and discussing the events that take place.

On Wednesday, we took part in our exciting 'No Pens Day'. The children enjoyed a variety of engaging activities, including hot-seating Mr Grinling from our class story, learning about the life cycles of frogs and butterflies, and joining a live TT Rock Stars lesson.

This week's VIP award was presented for reading and was awarded to Isaac. Well done!

We hope everyone has a wonderful half-term break and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to Birch Class on Tuesday 2nd June.
