Birch: Week 7, Autumn 2

Our final week of the autumn term has been a very exciting one. We have enjoyed all the festive fun and are very excited for our Christmas break now!

We started our week with our nativity performance and Christmas party afternoon. Thank you to anyone who came to watch us!

We have spent the rest of the week creating Christmas cards, completing crafts and finishing our DT project (sewing puppets!).

On Thursday Green team enjoyed a movie morning for winning the highest number of house points this half term. Blue team also enjoyed a special treat at breaktime for having the highest attendance overall!

In maths we have continued our work on multiplication and some of us can now answer questions that include the multiplication symbol.

In English we have created some lovely Christmas acrostic poems. We then copied our poems up in our personal best handwriting and placed them inside our Christmas cards. We hope that you enjoy reading them!

This was Mrs Wilson-Briars' last week as she started her maternity leave of Friday. We met Miss Street on Wednesday who will teach us in January, she was very nice.
