On Thursday we enjoyed our spooky disco, I hope that everyone who attended had the best time.

Next half term we will continue our science work on materials, completing experiments to test their properties and. We will be looking at a story called Major Gald and Major Dizzy which will support our learning in history over the upcoming weeks.

Date: 17th Oct 2025 @ 2:41pm

This week has been so exciting, we absolutely loved welcoming all of our parents and carers into our classroom to watch our assembly and work with us. We hope that you enjoyed it as much as we did.

In maths we have finished our unit of work on measurement and will move onto looking at addition and subtraction again next week.

In English we have been planning sentences about Toy Man and will use all our ideas to write a non-chronological report in our star write books next week.

Art has been very exciting as we have looked at the work of Sonia Delanuley. We have mixed primary colours to create secondary colours and have looked at how to contrast and create abstract artwork. We will complete our final pieces next week.

In PATHS we have been thinking about our control signals (stop, talk about our feelings and make a plan), we started by talking about things that make us feel angry and ten looked at behaviours that we can display when we are angry and how some of these behaviours are okay and some are no okay. We are focusing on the okay behaviours and how we deal with the emotions of anger.
